Exhibitions - PORTRAITS – Hellerau Photography Award

For the city of Dresden, the PORTRAITS Award has become an important and widely radiating exhibition project. The annual finalist exhibition, numerous accompanying events (in cooperation with the Konrad Adenauer Foundation or the Fotoforum Dresden), guided tours, artist talks and – since 2017 – so-called satellite exhibitions, which are organized by smaller galleries and exhibition spaces and frame the main program, make the PORTRAITS Award the largest European competition for contemporary portrait photography.
